Pat brings almost 30 years of investment experience in the asset management, institutional consulting and advisor marketplaces. He has served in senior executive positions for some of the world’s largest and most successful financial services companies, including Wilshire Associates and RogersCasey.
During his tenure, Pat has developed particular expertise in areas including asset allocation, investment structure, alternative investments and product development. Pat is a frequent contributor and speaker at industry conferences including Opal and Investment Management Institute.
Stephen has been a thought leader within the investment management community for several decades, providing leadership and innovation to some of the most challenging issues facing the industry. Investment Advisor magazine recently recognized him as one of the top 25 most influential people within the investment industry.
A tireless advocate, during his leadership he spearheaded the call for broader adoption of fiduciary standards and the enhancement of advisors' professional standing. Stephen is widely considered a pioneer in large-scale product management, financial planning, investment management consulting and fiduciary standing.
His list of accomplishments includes: publishing Senior Consultant, a leading advisory services publication; heading up the Investment Management Consulting initiative at Prudential, and overseeing product management at Wheat First Securities (Wachovia).
Mr. Winks is a graduate of the University of Richmond with a BS in economics and finance, and the Wharton School Securities Industry Institute.
Howard served as the Executive Director of the Minnesota State Board of Investment, that directs the investment of approximately $68 billion of retirement assets, trust funds and state cash accounts. Prior to his appointment in December, 1982, he served as their Acting Executive Director, Assistant Executive Director and Senior Portfolio Manager.
Howard holds a Bachelor's degree from Winona State University and an MBA in finance from College of St. Thomas, Saint Paul, Minnesota.
